Associate Director, Supply Chain Product Planning

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain combined clinical and commercial forecasts within the supply chain management system (SCMS)
• Translate clinical trial enrollment and commercial sales forecasts into master production plans for drug substance and finished goods
• Allocate drug substance batches to clinical versus commercial end use considering regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain item/material masters within SCMS tools
• Contribute supply chain input into cross-functional CD&OP/S&OP processes
• Provide supply plan requests to CMO core teams and integrate manufacturing schedules into the master plan
• Establish safety stock guidelines and monitor global stock levels, safety stock, and expiration dates
• Respond to dynamic projections by developing and comparing various scenarios
• Partner with finance to determine budget impacts of planning scenarios
• Identify supply bottlenecks and manage lead times under strict GxP rules
• Support commercial launch readiness activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, life sciences, supply chain, business, or engineering
• 7+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience
• 3+ years in production planning, inventory control, or demand forecasting for clinical and commercial materials
• Experience with planning, forecasting, inventory management, and ERP systems
• Understanding of manufacturing processes for drug substance, drug product, and combination products
• Strong understanding of cGMP, GDP, and Regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and SharePoint
• Ability to travel 10-20%
