Associate Director/Director, M&A Execution

Responsibilities

• Lead transaction execution from initial target qualification through to closing
• Perform detailed financial analysis on target company statements and build valuation models in Excel
• Draft offer letters, term sheets, and deal documents and lead negotiations
• Coordinate the due diligence process across legal, financial, operational, and IT workstreams
• Maintain high-quality relationships with founders, senior executives, and investment bankers
• Provide financial and accounting oversight and facilitate integration for acquired business units in the MENA region
• Provide guidance to junior M&A Execution team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 10-15+ years of experience at a top-tier accounting firm, capital advisory firm, investment bank, or private equity firm
• 3-5 years of mandatory mid-market deal execution experience
• 5+ years of mandatory experience in a financial controller or financial management role
• Advanced Excel proficiency and exceptional financial modelling skills
• Ability to travel within the MENA/GCC region and to Canada
• Must be physically located in the MENA region with valid work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CA, CFA, or MBA designation
• Buy-side experience
