Job description
Responsibilities
- Lead FERC, State PUC, and interconnection-related legal work
- Represent the company in regulatory proceedings
- Support interconnection agreements and processes
- Monitor and engage in regulatory rulemaking
- Collaborate with government affairs on legislative initiatives
- Support pre-construction regulatory and zoning efforts, including environmental reviews and local permitting
- Coordinate with the nuclear regulatory team on non-nuclear energy regulatory matters
Requirements
- 7–10 years of energy regulatory experience
- Substantive FERC practice experience
- Experience with State PUC filings
- Experience with generator interconnection processes
- Experience in energy-related public policy and legislative affairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
