Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead FERC, State PUC, and interconnection-related legal work
  • Represent the company in regulatory proceedings
  • Support interconnection agreements and processes
  • Monitor and engage in regulatory rulemaking
  • Collaborate with government affairs on legislative initiatives
  • Support pre-construction regulatory and zoning efforts, including environmental reviews and local permitting
  • Coordinate with the nuclear regulatory team on non-nuclear energy regulatory matters

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of energy regulatory experience
  • Substantive FERC practice experience
  • Experience with State PUC filings
  • Experience with generator interconnection processes
  • Experience in energy-related public policy and legislative affairs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
