Job description

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for legal questions across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and People Operations
  • Own the end-to-end contracting function, including drafting and negotiating MSAs, BAAs, SOWs, NDAs, ICAs, and Order Forms
  • Build and manage legal infrastructure, systems, and processes to enable scaling
  • Interface with outside counsel on specialized matters and implement guidance
  • Monitor the legal and regulatory landscape regarding healthcare data, price transparency, and AI governance
  • Support board governance, corporate policy, and maintaining corporate records

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school and active US bar membership
  • 4-7 years of transactional legal experience with a focus on commercial contracts
  • Strong working knowledge of SaaS and data licensing
  • Comfort with healthcare-adjacent regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, No Surprises Act, CMS price transparency)
  • Ability to provide actionable, decision-oriented legal guidance
  • Proficiency using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Ironclad or other CLM platforms
  • Experience with managed care, payer/provider/employer relations, or data commercialization
  • Exposure to IP fundamentals including trademarks and patents
