Backed by Y Combinator, Vetcove offers a suite of platforms including a procurement marketplace, ecommerce experience, and practice management system used by over 25,000 hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and DPAs
• Partner with business leadership, product, and operations to support enterprise deals
• Advise on product development and launches by identifying legal risks
• Develop expertise in regulatory areas such as FDA, DEA, privacy, and pharmacy laws
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance for technical and business teams
• Support strategic growth initiatives and new commercial models

Requirements

• 5-8 years of legal experience, including top-tier law firm experience
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Strong commercial contracting experience with SaaS and technology
• Experience advising high-growth technology or regulated businesses
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with marketplace regulation, ecommerce, or telecommunications
• Knowledge of veterinary practice or pharmacy laws
