Associate, Procurement

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end daily operational workflow of the procurement team
• Place purchase orders accurately and on time
• Maintain and update the procurement team’s contract tracker
• Audit and maintain inventory records to ensure data integrity
• Manage daily supplier communications and troubleshoot delivery adjustments
• Support coordination of the sugar and sweetener category
• Build structured rhythms and standardized processes for daily operations
• Hold vendors accountable to lead times and contractual commitments

Requirements

• Foundational background in procurement or supply chain operations
• Experience managing supplier inventories or tracking vendor lead times
• Proficiency in Excel including VLookups and Pivot Tables
• Experience interfacing with buyers and supporting supply chain escalations
• Strong communication skills and ability to hold suppliers accountable
• Ability to pivot quickly and problem-solve during supply chain disruptions
• Meticulous approach to data entry and record-keeping

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or ERP systems
• Experience managing raw material or agricultural commodity categories
