Associate Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the workflow of a cross-functional software development team on the InControl charger management system
• Communicate, collaborate, and engage with the user community to understand their needs
• Collaborate with design, hardware, software, QA, sales, service, and marketing teams
• Draft clear, actionable, and testable Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and developer tickets
• Utilize AI-based tools to create documents, clickable prototypes, and streamlined workflows
• Translate software roadmap strategic goals into practical implementations
• Build and nurture the community of developers utilizing the platform
• Support Sales with product demonstrations, proposals, and training
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the leadership team
• Identify ways to win market share and improve key metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of experience in product management or project management
• 2+ years of experience managing remote teams
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and native app development
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialization in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
• Experience in EV Charging, electric vehicle OEMs, microgrids/DERs, or utilities
• Familiarity with AI tooling for drafting tickets, PRDs, and prototypes
• Familiarity with industry standards such as OCPP, Modbus, or OpenADR
• Familiarity with cloud security standards such as SOC2 and NIST 800-53
