Responsibilities
- Investigate and evaluate grant opportunities regarding AI safety and governance
- Communicate grantmaking reasoning through transparent reports and public writing
- Source high-quality applications and manage relationships with grantees
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of AI safety and/or AI governance
- Strong analytical skills and judgment under time pressure
- High agency and proactive problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Pre-existing networks in the AI safety ecosystems
- Direct grantmaking, investment, or policy advising experience
- Experience with LLM-assisted workflows or technical research
