Job description

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support customer and business objectives
  • Plan, develop, execute, and document manual and automated testing across functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and release-readiness activities
  • Maintain and expand reusable test suites, manage defects, and verify traceability
  • Leverage tools like JMeter, Postman, Selenium, and Playwright for test automation
  • Ensure accessibility in development using tools like ANDI, Inspect DevTool, CCA, NVDA, and JAWS
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Perform peer code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Two or more years of software development experience
  • Experience building and maintaining software applications
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and development practices
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CMS Moderate Risk Public Trust clearance
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-native technologies and modern development frameworks
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Selenium and Playwright
  • Experience supporting federal government programs
  • Relevant technical certifications
