Associate/Consultant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality, scalable technical solutions for client and internal projects
• Translate business and functional requirements into sound engineering designs
• Own the delivery of technical components or workstreams with minimal supervision
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across systems and environments
• Collaborate directly with clients to clarify requirements and validate assumptions
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Follow and enforce engineering best practices, code quality standards, and security guidelines

Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering experience in a consulting, data, or software delivery environment
• 2+ years of experience with Python, SQL, dbt, React, Vue, and AWS/Azure/GCP
• Strong proficiency in software, data, or cloud engineering
• Solid understanding of version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation
• Hands-on experience with system integration, APIs, or data pipelines
• Experience working in agile or iterative project environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, MBA, or MS) in a Life Science related field
• Familiarity with AI/ML in drug discovery, real-world evidence (RWE), and digital clinical trials
• Experience with data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery
• Experience with cloud architecture patterns and infrastructure-as-code
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, or automation frameworks
