Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and understand system requirements and capabilities for test automation
• Setup and configure test automation frameworks in cloud environments
• Facilitate CI/CD pipelines
• Design, develop, and run automated test scripts in the cloud
• Collaborate with manual testers to prioritize automation for maximum value
• Develop test procedures to validate and verify requirements
• Configure test environments and data sets
• Apply SDLC knowledge to anticipate system complexities

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree
• 5+ years of experience with integration, regression, and system testing using automated tools in web-based applications
• Experience writing test cases, test plans, and reporting defects
• Proficiency in developing automated test scripts using ReactJS, NodeJS, Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Mocha, or Chai
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS or Azure preferred)
• Experience testing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
• Experience managing tests using NUnit and TestNG
• Comprehensive understanding of Cloud, Agile, and DevSecOps methodologies
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust position with the Administrative Office of the US Courts
