Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio or Selenium.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Conduct performance, load, and volume testing using JMeter (and SOAP UI where required).
• Integrate automated test execution into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute test plans across functional, regression, and integration testing cycles.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Prepare and present test reports and automation metrics to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve test coverage, frameworks, and QA processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Katalon Studio or Selenium.
• Solid experience in API testing using Postman and Swagger.
• Hands-on exposure to performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD integration.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and QA best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of UI automation, manual testing, DB, and API testing.
