AWS Assessor

Responsibilities

• Implement security strategies tailored to cloud-based environments including AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Conduct cloud security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks in infrastructure
• Analyze vulnerabilities and risks from Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of implemented controls to determine effectiveness
• Prepare security compliance reports and final cloud analysis reports
• Execute cloud Security Controls Test (SCT) plans
• Review and analyze cloud system artifacts to support Authorization to Operate (ATO) requests

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a DoED Level 6 High Risk/Public Trust Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• At least five years of related experience
• Five years of experience as a Security Controls Assessor or similar audit role focused on cloud security
• Experience with cloud security architecture, network security, and IAM
• Proven experience with CSPM tools, security as code, and container security
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or higher
• CRISC, CAP, or equivalent certification required
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, RMF, FISMA, FIPS-II, and NIST

Preferred Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance
• CISSP, CEH, GPEN or equivalent certification
• Experience with AWS Security Hub
