Back-End Developer

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following team conventions and best practices
• Ensure tasks are completed on time, to specification, and are performant and secure
• Participate in regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to technical planning, estimation, and progress meetings
• Solve complex technical problems and stay engaged with new back-end tools

Requirements

• 3 years of professional back-end development experience
• Proficiency in C# with an understanding of MVC architecture
• Experience with Umbraco and Optimizely CMS
• Familiarity with GIT and common version control workflows
• Experience with application profiling and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with the Azure Portal
• Knowledge of SQL Management Studio and relational databases
• Understanding of security practices including OWASP vulnerabilities
• Understanding of the blue-green deployment model

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience using security testing tools
• Familiarity with Node.js and JavaScript
