Backend Developer Senior

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs
• Define technical architecture and coding standards
• Optimize data models and database performance
• Implement security best practices and data protection
• Lead code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other developers
• Collaborate with frontend teams and technical stakeholders
• Drive architectural decisions and system design

Requirements

• Solid backend development experience
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language
• API design experience with REST or similar protocols
• Advanced knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
• Experience designing scalable systems
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Version control experience (Git)
• Demonstrated technical decision-making ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in high-availability environments
