Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Scale the billing system to support $100M+ in revenue.
• Build flexible billing primitives to support new pricing models without rearchitecting.
• Develop near-real-time usage reporting and limiting systems.
• Transform raw invoice data into actionable internal reports and accurate forecasts.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering skills with Python and SQL.
• Experience with data pipelines, task queues, and workflow orchestration (e.g., Celery, Temporal, or Dagster).
• Expertise in complex data modeling and robust error handling/rollbacks.
