Backend .NET Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Analyze and tune system designs to identify and fix performance bottlenecks
• Decompose tasks into sub-tasks and estimate development time
• Perform code and design reviews and lead research/POCs for new features
• Assist with new architecture prototyping and migration
• Identify areas for improvement and manage technical debt
• Mentor and guide an engineering team of backend developers
• Support current functionality and maintain backward compatibility
• Deliver completed tasks for testing and provide advisory assistance to QA teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of .NET web development experience
• 2+ years in a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Architect position
• Expertise in .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, and C# technologies
• Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience with asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures
• Experience with SSE, Long Polling, and WebSockets
• Experience with Unit and Integration testing
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with GitLab CI or other CI/CD technologies
• Experience troubleshooting production issues via observability stacks (Grafana, Tempo, Loki, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, separation of concerns, and testability
• Good written and spoken English proficiency
