Banner Technical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance Ellucian Banner environments
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders and IT teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Solve complex technical challenges to meet the needs of colleges and universities
• Travel as required for client engagements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the Higher Education sector
• Expertise in Banner technologies and strong proficiency in PL/SQL
• Coding experience in Java, JavaScript, or Groovy/Grails
• Familiarity with SQL Developer, Toad, Eclipse, or IntelliJ
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and RESTful Web Services
• Proficiency in Git
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Banner Extensibility tools and Ellucian Ethos Platform
• Demonstrated experience in data migration
• Familiarity with Ellucian Insights and Experience
• Ability to integrate third-party applications with Banner
• Experience with Banner Workflow, Banner Document Management, or Degree Works
• Familiarity with Automic Applications Manager or similar batch automation software
