Benefit Eligibility Specialist Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform benefits investigations to identify insurance coverage
• Research patient medical records for current medication regimens
• Utilize Pharmacy Dispensing Systems to complete investigations
• Document investigation outcomes clearly and concisely
• Collaborate with team members to provide integrated patient care
• Identify trends and recommend process improvements
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive patient data

Requirements

• Active national pharmacy technician license
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 8:00am - 7:30pm Mountain Time
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate EMR and PDS systems
• High attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PTCB national certification or equivalent
• 0-1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
