Big Data Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Data Warehouse solutions and data ingestion pipelines for large-scale projects.
• Lead data ingestion solution design, implementation and run impact analysis across source and target systems.
• Analyse and define different data ingestion patterns and recommend appropriate architectures.
• Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Gather and translate customer use cases into business and technical requirements using stakeholder interviews, POCs, and workshops.
• Collaborate with product specialists, data architects and stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare inputs for functional test cases and unit test plans for data ingestion scenarios.
• Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams; facilitate user reviews and stakeholder agreement meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, or equivalent).
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL and performance tuning for analytical workloads.
• Familiarity with big-data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Prior experience in enterprise consulting or large-scale program delivery.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality and security considerations.
