Job description

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and monthly retainers including applicable credit memos
  • Issue monthly customer statements to aid collection
  • Ensure all billable expenses are properly invoiced and reconcile discrepancies
  • Set up accrued revenue journal entries for invoices unable to post at month-end closes
  • Support Client Accounting Manager with billing processes
  • Review and post all accounts receivable entries for invoicing and credit memos
  • Update customer master files with proper contact information
  • Apply customer payments to close out open invoices
  • Support Senior Accountant with daily collections and commission processing
  • Prepare reporting requirements and ad-hoc projects

Requirements

  • 3+ years of billing experience
  • Experience in Public Relations or Legal/Law Firm billing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Experience with basic accounting and data entry
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
