Biology Tutor

Responsibilities

• Use proprietary software to provide input and labels on defined biology projects
• Ensure delivery of high-quality curated data for AI training
• Collaborate with technical staff to improve annotation tool design
• Select and solve complex problems from specialized biological subdomains such as genomics, evolutionary biology, and drug discovery
• Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on evolving instructions

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in a biology-related field
• Expertise in one or more specialized areas: Genetics, Genomics, Developmental Biology, Systems Biology, Physiology, Evolution, Microbiology, Pharmacology, or Drug Discovery
• Proficiency in reading and writing professional English
• Strong ability to navigate information resources, databases, and online resources
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Capacity to exercise autonomous judgment with limited data

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple publications including at least one first-author paper in reputable peer-reviewed journals
• Previous AI tutoring or teaching experience
• Experience in technical writing, journalism, or professional writing

Benefits

• US-based compensation of $45/hour to $75/hour depending on experience and location
