Biomedical Technician 2

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex biomedical equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs
• Perform planned maintenance (PM), safety and environmental inspections
• Lead, instruct, and assist other technicians on basic and complex repairs
• Maintain effective customer relations and proactive daily communications
• Document all repair actions and submit reports according to schedule
• Ensure proper care and calibration of spares, tools, and test equipment
• Manage vendors' service delivery processes in compliance with GE policies
• Meet Health and Human Services and Environment Health and Safety requirements

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment
• Alternatively, equivalent military education and 2+ years of experience servicing electrical or mechanical equipment
• Alternatively, High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of experience servicing medical equipment
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
