Biomedical Technician 3

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex customer biomedical equipment issues, implement repairs, and perform planned maintenance
• Lead other technicians on GE policies, hospital protocols, and documentation
• Maintain proactive daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction
• Implement facility contracts and support business goals
• Document all repair actions and submit reports according to schedule
• Manage spares, tools, and test equipment calibration
• Maintain approved parts inventory
• Meet Health and Human Services and Environment Health and Safety regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent military education, or High School Diploma with 6+ years of experience
• Proficiency in electronic documentation using tools like iPad and iPhone
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Experience maintaining customer relations with nurses, doctors, and leadership
• Ability to work independently and as a team to solve problems
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs unassisted
