Job description
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design of clinical research studies
- Write biostatistical analysis plans for research proposals and internal grants
- Calculate sample size and power
- Manage, analyze, and interpret study data and results
- Contribute to study publications
- Educate research team members in statistical methods and study design
- Provide statistical consultations to clinical principal investigators
- Prepare publication quality graphics and assist in manuscript preparation
Requirements
- Master's degree in biostatistics or a closely related field
- Minimum of 4 years of statistical analysis experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience managing large datasets in a healthcare environment
- Advanced proficiency with SAS or R
- Knowledge of logistic regression, time-to-event (survival), and observational data analysis methods
