Job description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the design of clinical research studies
  • Write biostatistical analysis plans for research proposals and internal grants
  • Calculate sample size and power
  • Manage, analyze, and interpret study data and results
  • Contribute to study publications
  • Educate research team members in statistical methods and study design
  • Provide statistical consultations to clinical principal investigators
  • Prepare publication quality graphics and assist in manuscript preparation

Requirements

  • Master's degree in biostatistics or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of statistical analysis experience in a healthcare environment
  • Experience managing large datasets in a healthcare environment
  • Advanced proficiency with SAS or R
  • Knowledge of logistic regression, time-to-event (survival), and observational data analysis methods
