Blockchain DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support blockchain infrastructure and node operations
• Review and propose blockchain software configuration and network/node setup
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD and DevOps lifecycle automation
• Design and maintain cloud workloads and manage cloud security posture
• Deploy, manage and troubleshoot container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
• Build, deploy and maintain monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Fluentd)
• Perform root-cause analysis and incident response for infrastructure issues
• Share knowledge on blockchain security threats and best practices
• Collaborate with engineering teams on end-to-end system design and automation

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar discipline
• 3 - 5 years experience in DevOps, systems administration, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Infrastructure-as-code and automation (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
• Container tooling and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, docker-compose)
• Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Fluentd)
• Strong Linux, networking and security fundamentals (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
• Able to troubleshoot, debug and perform methodical root-cause analysis
• Team player with a growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity
• Interest in public blockchain technologies and security

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience deploying or operating public blockchain nodes/networks
• Experience with blockchain node software and consensus mechanisms
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go)
• Experience with high-availability and scalable distributed systems
• Certifications in cloud or security are a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure, CISSP)
