Blockchain Engineer

Responsibilities

• Explore and experiment with blockchain use cases across various business scenarios by building prototypes and tooling
• Research on-chain ecosystems, protocols, and emerging trends to identify opportunities for BNB Chain infrastructure
• Synthesize research findings into clear technical reports and directional recommendations for the core team
• Collaborate with protocol and product teams to ensure research insights inform infrastructure decisions
• Stay current with developments across the broader Web3 ecosystem, including new protocols and business models

Requirements

• 1–5 years of engineering experience with a solid foundation in backend or systems development
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, or Python
• Basic understanding of blockchain mechanics, including the transaction lifecycle, smart contracts, and the EVM
• Curiosity-driven mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and learn through hands-on experimentation
• Strong ability to structure research findings and communicate them clearly
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fully remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with blockchain ecosystems such as BNB Chain, Ethereum, or Solana
• Familiarity with DeFi, trading infrastructure, payments, or AI applications
• Experience with on-chain data analysis or smart contract development
• Background in quantitative analysis, data engineering, or financial systems
