Job description

Responsibilities

  • Commission, edit, and write 2-3 blog posts per month
  • Proofread and edit draft posts to ensure quality and style alignment
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Editor on quarterly content plans
  • Provide copy for social media promotion and actively promote blog posts
  • Optionally conduct author interviews for YouTube and podcast channels

Requirements

  • Expertise in ecology and evolutionary biology, particularly animal ecology
  • Excellent written English and clear communication
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to network and identify content gaps
  • Experience with scientific blogging, social media, or podcasting is desirable
