BMC Helix Developer-Remote

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain applications on the Helix platform
• Implement and customize Helix features to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance and functionality
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Keep up to date with Helix platform updates and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a Helix Developer or similar role
• Strong understanding of Helix architecture, features and capabilities
• Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS)
• Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL or other relational databases and complex queries
• Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with application development frameworks and methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices
• Experience in performance tuning and optimisation of applications
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project requirements
