Bodily Injury Adjuster - Represented, Moderate/Complex - MD, VA, DC, DE, WV

Responsibilities

• Investigate automobile accidents involving single or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage or bodily injury with attorney involvement
• Assess coverage, liability, and damages
• Communicate with customers and attorneys via voice, email, and text
• Negotiate fair and timely injury settlements with all parties involved
• Perform detailed reviews of damage and interpret policies to determine coverage
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the claims system

Requirements

• Prior represented third-party casualty claim handling experience is required
• Proficiency in insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely in the Eastern or Central Time Zones
• Proficient communication skills for establishing rapport and assessing claims

Preferred Qualifications

• Bodily injury claims experience in MD, VA, WV, DE, or DC
• 3+ years of moderate/complex bodily injury claim handling experience
• Prior litigation claims experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
