Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster II

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve auto bodily injury claims
• Verify coverage, investigate liability, and determine the scope of damages
• Evaluate accident facts, injuries, medical records, and medical bills
• Negotiate settlements in accordance with company practices and state regulations
• Manage an assigned inventory of bodily injury claims independently
• Provide proactive and transparent communication to customers, attorneys, and medical providers

Requirements

• Experience handling bodily injury or related casualty claims
• Ability to investigate coverage, liability, and damages independently
• Strong understanding of insurance policies and claims handling practices
• Ability to obtain and maintain required state adjuster licenses
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior bodily injury claims experience
• Experience handling attorney-represented claims
• Exposure to litigation claims
• Ability to manage a high-volume claim inventory independently
