Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets for book sales (Physical format + Amazon).
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with publishers, distributors, and other key stakeholders in the book industry.
  • Identifying market trends, new opportunities, and customer preferences to refine sales tactics and product offerings.
  • Overseeing the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track and present progress.
  • Coordinating with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns that enhance brand visibility and drive book sales.
  • Managing distribution channels to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of products.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Have proven experience (5+ years) in sales management, preferably within the book publishing or distribution industry.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Possess a results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales goals.
  • Show adaptability and creativity in a dynamic and evolving market.
