Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist

Job Squad is an international team of 50 people working to help individuals secure jobs abroad. Founded in 2018, we are a fast-growing startup with a flat structure and an agile, international atmosphere. Our company language is English, and we welcome people from all over Europe.

Responsibilities

• Handle payroll for the team and calculate individual employee bonuses
• Oversee and update customer contracts
• Create and draft contracts for both customers and employees
• Manage team holiday and sick day tracking
• Perform bookkeeping, invoicing, and budgeting
• Ensure customer payments are received and manage payment reminders
• Maintain and update contact systems for customers and employees

Requirements

• Must be fluent in Danish
• Must be fluent in English
• Proven experience in payroll and accounting
• Experience using Economics software
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and PayPal
• Knowledge of the Danish tax system
• Experience with CRM systems
• Strong attention to detail and solution-oriented mindset
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Ability to work within EU business hours (9-17 CET)
