Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize daily transactions in accounting software
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts weekly
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate debits and credits
• Prepare bank deposits and maintain digital records
• Assist with payroll processing and vendor payments
• Support client onboarding and historical book cleanup
• Collaborate with Client Accountants for month-end and year-end closes
• Document workflows and suggest process improvements

Requirements

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or Netsuite
• Experience with Bill.com or Expensify
• Associate degree or coursework in accounting/finance preferred
• Ability to work 25+ hours per week (full-time available)
• Dedicated workspace with reliable high-speed internet
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
