Job description

Responsibilities

  • Enter and post daily bank and credit card transactions into Business Central
  • Ensure proper coding for all credit card transactions
  • Prepare and post general journal entries with appropriate documentation
  • Manage intercompany journal entries and reconciliations
  • Maintain supporting documentation for all accounting entries
  • Assist with month-end close activities
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting U.S.-based companies
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Proven experience with intercompany journal entries and reconciliations
  • Strong understanding of general ledger structure and accounting principles
  • Experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (including sorting, filtering, and pivot tables)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting
  • Experience with Jet Reporting
  • Experience working in an offshore accounting support role
  • Experience supporting multiple entities or intercompany accounting
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
