Burn Registrar

Responsibilities

• Categorize, code, summarize, interpret, and calculate registry/case information from patient medical records
• Ensure quality submission of all data in specified registries while maintaining high accuracy
• Meet tight deadlines for multiple concurrent tasks and team requests
• Navigate electronic medical records (EMR) and registry/case entry tools; troubleshoot technical issues
• Contribute to best practices, data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, and process improvements
• Stay current on mandated regulatory and publicly reported data requirements

Requirements

• Direct Burn ABA Registry abstraction experience
• Experience with ABA BCQP Burn Registry platform
• Exposure to multiple EMRs and clinical databases
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct clinical experience
• Completion of an anatomy course
