Business Central Techno-Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Business Central extensions and customizations using AL
• Build and maintain integrations between Business Central and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware
• Architect technical solutions for finance-centric requirements including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets
• Develop and optimize complex data migrations using SQL and migration tooling
• Configure and extend financial reporting, account schedules, and Power BI dashboards
• Partner with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Conduct code reviews and manage source control using Azure DevOps and Git
• Troubleshoot and provide advanced technical support through go-live

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Dynamics development experience with hands-on AL development
• At least 2 full life cycle implementations
• Proven experience building extensions, APIs, and integrations in Business Central
• Solid working knowledge of Business Central finance functionality
• Strong SQL skills for data migration and transformation
• Experience with Azure services, Power Platform, and modern integration patterns
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD
• Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certification in Business Central Functional Consultant (MB-800)
• Microsoft certification in Business Central Developer (MB-820)
• Accounting or Finance Degree
• Experience in complex multi-entity or multi-currency environments
• Familiarity with AppSource app development
• Dynamics GP experience
