Responsibilities
- Research and identify new business opportunities in school districts and relevant organizations
- Apply sales development best practices using email, phone, and social outreach
- Utilize discovery and objection handling strategies to engage decision-makers
- Articulate Parallel’s value proposition to prospective clients
- Record all contacts and outreach activities in HubSpot/Salesforce
- Consistently achieve and exceed program targets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in business development or 4-5 years of experience in the classroom
- Prior experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Must be based in California, Oregon, or Washington
- Strong and empathetic verbal communication skills
- High level of comfort making cold calls
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
