Job description

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new business opportunities in school districts and relevant organizations
  • Apply sales development best practices using email, phone, and social outreach
  • Utilize discovery and objection handling strategies to engage decision-makers
  • Articulate Parallel’s value proposition to prospective clients
  • Record all contacts and outreach activities in HubSpot/Salesforce
  • Consistently achieve and exceed program targets

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development or 4-5 years of experience in the classroom
  • Prior experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Must be based in California, Oregon, or Washington
  • Strong and empathetic verbal communication skills
  • High level of comfort making cold calls
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
