Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead early identification, screening, and tracking of Calls for Proposals (CFPs) relevant to Asia Pacific priorities
  • Drive filtering and prioritization of funding opportunities aligned with regional strategies
  • Develop public funding proposals, including drafting, editing, and integrating stakeholder contributions
  • Oversee assembly of proposal components, including background materials, annexes, and donor templates
  • Prepare concept notes, expressions of interest, and full proposals
  • Contribute to strengthening public funding capability through guidance, tools, and training
  • Support regional public funding reporting and maintain pipeline entries in BBCRM
  • Facilitate information flow between Business Units, thematic teams, and enabling functions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience communicating with business, government, or program leadership
  • Experience designing and directing multiple complex projects
  • Experience preparing and presenting project proposals and written communications
  • Experience working with corporate/NGO partners or government agencies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with bilateral/multilateral public funding mechanisms
  • Experience in project design, concept development, and proposal packaging
  • Understanding of conservation, climate, or sustainable development issues in Asia Pacific
  • Experience writing successful public funding proposals
  • Multi-cultural or cross-cultural professional experience
