Business Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand workflows and design process improvements
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and automations
• Configure and maintain business systems including Salesforce, Jira, n8n, Dataiku, and Snowflake
• Build integrations between systems using APIs and low-code platforms
• Support quote-to-cash initiatives including billing automation and contract tracking
• Evaluate and onboard new SaaS tools in coordination with IT and Security
• Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and processes
• Provide training and support to end-users on system functionality

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in business systems, operations, or technical consulting
• Hands-on experience configuring and optimizing SaaS platforms
• Experience with workflow automation tools like n8n or Zapier
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor, LLMs)
• Strong analytical mindset for structuring problems and driving solutions
• Experience working across Sales, Finance, and Customer Success functions
• Excellent communication skills for translating business needs to technical systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in fintech, payments, or SaaS
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integration patterns
• Experience with BI or data analysis tools
• Experience administering Salesforce or Jira
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, or Git
