Job description

Responsibilities

  • Proactively grow the specialty pharmacy patient population through outbound phone calls
  • Educate patients on the services offered by the Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program
  • Communicate the benefits of the Shields Partner Pharmacy program to patients
  • Access and review patient EMR and chart notes to ensure familiarity with conditions
  • Identify medications requiring special storage, handling, or specific supplies
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and protect company values

Requirements

  • Pharmacy technician licensed in Colorado
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior customer service or outbound call experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong verbal communication and phone skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional Saturdays

Preferred Qualifications

  • National certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in a pharmacy or clinical setting
