Job description
Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target industries or agencies
- Coordinate partner activities across multiple simultaneous engagements
- Drive end-to-end capture lifecycle from opportunity shaping to contract award
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and decision-makers
- Schedule and facilitate discovery calls, demos, and meetings
- Drive early capture activities including white papers, RFIs, and tech demos
- Represent the company at conferences and networking events
- Support contracting activities from proposal to closeout
- Support negotiations with external partners
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on pipeline activity
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or government contracting
- Experience selling or supporting complex software solutions
- Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation and sales pipeline goals
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR, OT, and government contracting standards
- Experience in both technology companies and government-facing organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- AI/ML experience
- DC location based preferred
- Active security clearance
