Job description

Responsibilities

  • Source, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target industries or agencies
  • Coordinate partner activities across multiple simultaneous engagements
  • Drive end-to-end capture lifecycle from opportunity shaping to contract award
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and decision-makers
  • Schedule and facilitate discovery calls, demos, and meetings
  • Drive early capture activities including white papers, RFIs, and tech demos
  • Represent the company at conferences and networking events
  • Support contracting activities from proposal to closeout
  • Support negotiations with external partners
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on pipeline activity

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or government contracting
  • Experience selling or supporting complex software solutions
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation and sales pipeline goals
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR, OT, and government contracting standards
  • Experience in both technology companies and government-facing organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • AI/ML experience
  • DC location based preferred
  • Active security clearance
