Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage conditions including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hyperlipidemia
• Provide longitudinal care via a telehealth platform
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other specialists
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Document all patient encounters accurately within EPIC EMR
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Active, unrestricted medical license in NM is a plus
• Experience or interest in APP supervision
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to provide care in a telehealth environment
