Career Coach

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group career coaching regarding job searches in technical fields
• Respond to student career concerns via email and track outcomes in CRM
• Implement coaching strategies to ensure students are competitive candidates
• Hold students accountable to placement rate goals and program policies
• Support career curriculum, resource development, and webinar facilitation
• Escalate and develop intervention plans for students of concern

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in coaching, advising, or workforce development
• Experience supporting job searches for technical roles
• Knowledge of the tech hiring process and job search tactics
• Proficiency with tools like HubSpot, LMS, Zoom, and Google Workspace
• Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal coaching education or certifications
• Knowledge of visa and work authorization requirements
• Familiarity with the Canadian job market
• Knowledge of recruiting practices in software engineering, cybersecurity, data science, or design
