Job description
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a carrier book of business to align with shipper freight needs
- Reach and exceed required load coverage, volume, service metrics, and revenue goals
- Establish multi-dimensional relationships with carrier partners to support the growth of the CT Exchange network
- Develop proactive communication processes for cross-functional collaboration
- Coach and develop junior members of the Carrier Sales Team
- Identify and communicate continuous improvement ideas for process and performance
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Capacity Management
- Full-Truckload experience (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed)
- Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively
- Proven ability to problem-solve, think quickly, and make sound business decisions
- Self-motivated with a passion to achieve results
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while delivering individual results
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
