Job description

Responsibilities

  • Own category P&L including OTB, forecasts, margins and YoY growth targets for beauty categories (skincare, fragrance, makeup, haircare, beauty tools).
  • Track and report category performance by region, product mix and assortment depth; monitor availability and missed sales.
  • Build and execute long-term category strategies informed by data, market trends and competitor activity.
  • Source, onboard and develop brand partnerships; manage a portfolio of T1–T3 brands including negotiations, KPIs and marketing investments.
  • Define assortment strategy, pricing architecture and purchasing models; recommend promotions, markdowns and exits.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Digital Trading, Product and BD to align campaigns, visibility and seasonal plans.
  • Analyse weekly and monthly sales, NPS, stock efficiency and marketing ROI; use insights to optimise performance and retention.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years in beauty/category buying or merchandising within luxury retail or e‑commerce in the GCC.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management experience with brand partners.
  • Proficiency with retail analytics tools and Excel; experience using business intelligence platforms.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving assortment growth, margin improvement and retention of key brands.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across commercial teams.
