Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the product line for Careem Groceries
- Design the go-to-market strategy for grocery, pharmacy, and retail products
- Align selection strategy with overall department & business goals
- Identify category-specific sourcing needs and sourcing key consumer trends
- Source and negotiate selection to meet business objectives with competitive terms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, supply chain, and pricing teams
- Ensure successful product launches and maintain accurate product content and visibility
- Maintain supplier relationships through regular business reviews and growth planning
- Ensure stock availability and smooth onboarding for new items
Requirements
- At least 5+ years' experience in grocery Buying or Category Management
- Experience negotiating with manufacturers, FMCGs, or brand owners
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Hands-on attitude and perseverance
- Strong analytical skills are a plus
