Category Manager - Snacks & Frozen

Responsibilities

• Own P&L and assortment strategy for Snacks & Frozen in the UAE
• Develop sourcing strategies; lead supplier negotiations and onboarding
• Optimize pricing, promotions, and vendor terms to drive growth
• Maintain high availability with supply chain and demand planning
• Partner with marketing and product to increase SKU visibility and conversion
• Monitor category performance, customer feedback, and market trends to refine strategy
• Ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with legal, finance, and compliance

Requirements

• 5–8 years in category management, merchandising, procurement, or strategic sourcing, ideally in grocery retail or FMCG
• Proven ownership of commercial KPIs with margin and growth delivery
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and data tools
• Entrepreneurial drive, ownership mindset, and bias for action
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication

Preferred Qualifications

• E-grocery or FMCG marketplace experience in the UAE
• Inventory and demand planning expertise
• Pricing and promotion strategy experience
• Familiarity with food regulatory standards in the UAE
