Central Asia and Eastern Europe Growth Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead growth and customer acquisition strategies for the Central Asia and Eastern Europe corridors.
• Build trust-based relationships with diaspora communities through online and in-person engagement.
• Initiate, negotiate, and execute partnerships with community associations, local banks, and fintech players.
• Manage offline and online advertising campaigns, including paid marketing and creative agencies.
• Source and lead community ambassadors and influencers to drive brand awareness.
• Conduct regular customer research to identify pain points and optimize user experience.
• Collaborate with Product, Ops, and Engineering teams to improve regional operations.
• Work closely with the Country Manager to define growth plans, budgets, and CAC targets.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in high-growth environments such as startups, fintech, or marketing.
• Deep knowledge of and networks within Central Asia diaspora communities globally.
• Strong background in business development, sales, or analytical marketing.
• Proven experience managing paid marketing activities.
• Fluency in both English and Russian (written and spoken) is required.
• Ability to travel to major corridors to connect with users and understand market needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for working with migrant communities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing contacts with Central Asian influencers and celebrities.
• Established relationships with local banks in Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Georgia, or Armenia.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, target-oriented startup environment.
